16 oz. Treated Canvas
Our 16 oz. treated canvas is a high-count, single-filled ounce duck treated with the most dependable water and mildew resistant compounds. This industrial-grade fabric is durable and water-repellant, made from 10 oz. per square yard natural cotton canvas, with a finish weight of 16 oz. It comes in a bright golden-tan or a dark olive green. Click here for color samples. We usually expect these to last 5-10 years in climates similar to our snowy mountain winters. This cotton canvas shrinks approximately 10%, which we allow for in manufacturing your cover. Consequently, you can expect your cover to fit a bit loosely the first season.

Premium Marine Grade Canvas
Our marine grade canvas is our most popular choice for air conditioner covers. It is a 10 oz. cotton/polyester blend canvas with a premium grade water and mildew resistant finish, which adds virtually no weight to the fabric. Because it is a woven fabric, it allows your air conditioning unit to 'breathe', preventing rust and corrosion of electrical components, while the fabric's protective finish still keeps the winter weather and wind out. This fabric comes in 4 colors: gray, light green, light blue or tan. Click here for color samples. The premium marine grade canvas has a tighter weave than the 16 oz. treated canvas, virtually no shrinkage, and will last longer.

13 oz. Vinyl
We also make many swamp cooler covers out of a 13 ounce vinyl, which is a more plastic-like material. It is very durable and should last like the premium marine grade canvas. Because it isn't a woven fabric, we normally don't recommend this fabric be used for a/c unit covers. We use 13 oz. vinyl when making covers with college logos, American Flags, or other custom designs. It comes in a wide variety of colors:
