Standard Cover - With or Without a Slit
Please Read Before Placing Your Order

Above is an example of a custom cover that would require a slit up the corner. There is a hose coming out of the corner 17" up. Some pipes or hoses may not need a cutout, if they lay very flat against the cooler. This one, however, would need a slit to ensure a proper fit.
Notice how the sides are labeled so that the slit ends up in the correct corner.

Measurements
When entering the dimensions of your cooler cover, it is important to put the measurements of the unit itself, not the size you want the cover to be. We will add necessary amounts to allow easy fit and to compensate for any shrinkage in the material. You just need to enter the size of the cooling unit. If your cooler's measurements are in fractions of an inch (1/4", 3/4", etc.) round your measurement up to the nearest 1/2". So if your height is 35.25", round up to 35.5". If your height is 27.75", round up to 28".
Measurements
S1 & S2
These dimensions are the measurements of each side of the cooler, measuring from corner to corner.
Some coolers may be the same size on all 4 sides (a square).
When ordering a rectangular cover with a slit up the corner, you need to pay attention to how you label your sides so that the slit comes out in the correct corner. Refer to Examples 1 & 2 above to see the proper way to label each side.
Measurement H Measurement H is the height of your cover. To find the height, measure the distance from the base to the top of your unit.
Measurement A Measurement A is the distance from the bottom of the cooler cover to the top of the slit in the cover. Many covers will require a slit because of electrical or water lines attached to the unit. If your cover doesn't require a slit, leave measurement A empty or enter 0 (zero). If you do need a slit, enter the distance (inches) from the bottom of the unit to the top of the obstruction. Leaving yourself a little extra room to ensure a proper fit won't hurt at all. As Example 1 shows 17" to the pipe in the corner, you could make the slit 18" or 19" just to be safe.
Measurement R Measurement R is the radius of a rounded corner. Click here for detailed help on finding Measurement R
Grommets The grommets are brass rings punched through the fabric which allow you to lace the cover together on a corner with a slit.
Shrinkage Some fabrics will shrink with use, but we allow for this when manufacturing the covers. You can expect the cover to be a little large and baggy the first season, but it will shrink to fit nicely for future years.
Opening The open side of the cooler cover will always be the shaded side, as indicated in the diagram above.
Draw Rope A rope is sewn in the hem around the opening to allow you to cinch the cover up tightly around the cooler.
Cost There is an extra $5.00 charge for small slits (6" or less), and a $7.00 charge for large slits (over 6").
